How to read bulletin analytics

See who opened your bulletin, what they clicked, and which announcements get attention — so you know what works.

Step-by-step guideAbout 10 minutes

Before you begin

  • Bulletins module enabled
  • At least one live bulletin published with your public link shared

What bulletin analytics tell you

When people open your bulletin link or tap a button inside it, ChurchRaise counts views and clicks. This helps you see whether announcements are being read and which links (giving, events, forms) get the most action.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Bulletins → Analytics

In the left sidebar, click Bulletins, then Analytics. If you do not see Analytics, your church may need the Analytics module enabled — ask your account admin or use Modules to request access.

  2. Pick a bulletin or view all

Use the dropdown at the top to filter by a specific bulletin date or leave All Bulletins for the big picture.

  3. Read the headline numbers

Views = how many times the bulletin was opened. Clicks = taps on links and buttons inside the bulletin. Click thru rate = clicks divided by views — higher means people are engaging, not just scrolling past.

  4. Check Most Engaged

See which contacts interact most. Useful for knowing who actually reads digital announcements.

  5. Review Views by Day

The chart shows which days of the week get the most opens — often Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

  6. See Top Content

Top Content lists the five most-clicked items in the bulletin (events, giving link, prayer button, etc.). Put important items where people already click.

  7. Follow up on Responses

Prayer requests and connect-card responses link to the Responses area — click through to reply pastorally.

Tips

  • Quick check without opening Analytics: on Bulletins → Create, the live bulletin shows Views and Clicks inline.
  • Share the same bulletin link every week — analytics accumulate as your congregation learns the habit.
  • Low views? Put the link in email, slides, and Church Hub — not just the printed sheet.

If something goes wrong

Analytics shows zero views

Confirm a bulletin is Live (scheduled go-live time is in the past). Make sure you shared the public link, not an admin preview link.

Analytics menu item missing

Enable or request the Analytics module under Modules in the sidebar.

Clicks seem low

Add clear buttons (Register, Give, Prayer) instead of plain text links. Mobile readers tap buttons more easily.
