How to publish this Sunday's bulletin
Create a digital bulletin, schedule it to go live, and share one link that works every week.
Before you begin
- Bulletins module enabled
- Announcements and service details ready to paste in
Remember: one link forever
Your bulletin URL stays the same every week. You schedule new content to appear on that link — like changing the show on a TV channel. You do not send a new link each Sunday.
Step-by-step
Open Bulletins
Click Bulletins in the left sidebar → Create (or Manage Bulletins).
Create a new bulletin
Click New Bulletin. Enter a name like Sunday March 9 and pick the service date.
Add content blocks
Click Add block or the + button. Common blocks: Announcements, Order of Service, Events, Online Giving, Prayer Requests. Drag blocks to reorder.
Fill in this week's details
Type announcements, paste sermon notes, link events, and add images. Use Preview to see how it looks on a phone.
Schedule go-live time
Set Display from to when you want this bulletin to appear (often Saturday evening or Sunday morning). The previous bulletin stays visible until this time.
Save and confirm Live status
Save the bulletin. On the Bulletins list, confirm it shows Scheduled or Live for the right date.
Share the link
Copy your bulletin link or QR code from the bulletin page. Put it in slides, email, and your Church Hub — the same link every week.
Tips
- Duplicate last week's bulletin and edit instead of starting from scratch.
- Preview on your phone before Sunday — most people read the bulletin on mobile.
- Queue next week's bulletin early; it will swap in automatically at the scheduled time.
If something goes wrong
Old bulletin still showing
Check the go-live date/time on the new bulletin. It must be in the past (or now) to become Live.
Link shows draft content
Make sure displayFrom is set and saved. Draft bulletins without a schedule do not replace the live one.
Images load slowly
Resize large photos before uploading; smaller files load faster on church Wi‑Fi.
