Why we built this
Giving is worship. Somewhere along the way, it became a revenue stream.
Over the last decade, digital giving became a big business. Private equity noticed the billions that flow through the Church each year. Platforms that talk like ministries now price like toll booths, taking a percentage of every tithe, every offering, every act of worship. Then they charge for the software on top.
We came from inside that world. We've seen how the economics work. Processing will always cost something, and that's fine. The problem is the markup layered on top of worship, and the contracts and locked vaults that keep churches from leaving.
Churches challenge their people to give sacrificially. We think giving platforms should be held to the same standard of stewardship.
So we built ChurchRaise Giving on Stripe with a simple rule: pass Stripe's discounted nonprofit rates through at cost, take nothing from any gift, give the software away, and never hold a church's generosity hostage. Here's the standard we hold ourselves to. Hold your current provider to it too.
Public pricing
Our rates are on this page, not behind a sales call. If a provider won't publish pricing, ask why.
Zero markup on worship
Our rates are Stripe's nonprofit rates, at cost. Processing has a real cost. Nobody should profit on top of it, and we don't.
Your givers stay yours
If you ever leave ChurchRaise, we transfer your givers' saved payment methods to your next provider. In writing, in your agreement.
Transparent rates
Side by side, in the open
Our rates are simply Stripe's nonprofit pricing, passed through at cost. The rest come from each provider's public pricing page, or third-party reports where pricing isn't published. Checked July 2026. Your plan may differ, and the calculator lets you enter your exact rates.

The differentiator
Every module. Always free.
Other platforms charge per module, per feature, per seat. ChurchRaise includes the whole platform with giving. It's all funded by optional support givers can choose to add at checkout, never by a cut of the tithe. So everything here is yours.

Switching, handled
Your givers shouldn't have to re-enroll because you chose better stewardship
The number one fear in switching platforms is losing recurring givers. We built our migration around it.
We map your current giving
Funds, campuses, recurring schedules, and giver records, exported and verified with you.
Saved payment methods transfer securely
Where your current provider cooperates, vaulted cards and bank details move through a PCI-compliant processor-to-processor transfer. Your givers do nothing. Their gifts just keep going.
We handle the holdouts
If a provider won't release the vault, we run a warm, pastoral re-enrollment campaign for you, written in your church's voice. Most churches recover the large majority of recurring gifts within weeks.
You go live before Sunday
A migration specialist stays with you until the last recurring gift has landed.
The Portability Promise
Your givers' saved payment methods belong to your church's ministry, not to us. If you ever choose to leave ChurchRaise, we will transfer vaulted payment data to your next provider through a PCI-compliant transfer, at no charge, without delay tactics.
It's written into every agreement. We'd rather earn your church every month than lock the doors.
That's the whole point.
Beyond the fees
Lower cost is the floor. Growing generosity is the job.
Our team has spent years helping thousands of churches build cultures of generosity. That playbook is built into the platform, not sold as a consulting package.
2–3x
Recurring by default
Churches that make recurring the default option see two to three times the number of recurring givers over a year, with no increase in cancellations. Peer-reviewed research backs it: defaults change behavior without reducing total generosity.
~2x
The second-gift ask
Inviting someone to make giving automatic works about twice as well on their second gift as their first. ChurchRaise times the invitation for you.
60–70%
Failed payments, recovered
Expired cards quietly drain thousands a month from most churches. Automated, gracious update nudges recover most of it within two weeks.
Day 90
Keeping new recurring givers
Most recurring gifts that stop, stop in months three and four. A well-timed impact update cuts that dropout roughly in half. It's automatic here.
