How to plan a Sunday service order
Build a run sheet with songs, prayers, and assignments so your team knows what happens when.
Before you begin
- Services module enabled
Step-by-step
Open Services
Click Services in the left sidebar (under Events & groups or Worship).
Create a plan for the date
Click New Service Plan or + and pick this Sunday's date and service name (example: Sunday Morning Worship).
Add elements in order
Add items: Welcome, Songs, Scripture, Sermon, Offering, Announcements, Closing. Drag to reorder. Set rough durations so the service stays on time.
Assign people
Next to each element, assign who leads (worship leader, reader, pastor). They can see the plan when they sign in.
Add songs from your library
Attach songs to music slots. Import from CCLI SongSelect if connected, or type titles manually.
Share or print the run sheet
Open Run Sheet or Live View for Sunday. Print or display for the tech booth and worship team.
Tips
- Save your typical Sunday as a template — duplicate it each week instead of rebuilding.
- Link volunteer schedules so ushers and media team get the same plan.
