What you can do at a glance

Manage volunteer teams with categories and positions, build weekly schedules with drag-and-drop assignment, send email notifications and reminders to assigned volunteers, accept public volunteer signups, and track confirmations and declines.

Teams & Positions

Organize volunteers into teams (e.g. Worship, Ushers, Kids Ministry). Each team has positions with capacity limits and optional safety/background check requirements. Assign a team leader. Enable self-signup per team so volunteers can join from a public page.

Scheduling

View a weekly calendar grid showing teams, positions, and assignments. Click any empty slot to assign a volunteer. Create schedule templates for recurring service patterns. Navigate between weeks to plan ahead.

Notifications & Reminders

When a volunteer is assigned, they automatically receive an email with date, time, role, team, and Accept/Decline buttons. Use Nudge to re-send a reminder to a specific volunteer. Send All Reminders emails every unconfirmed volunteer across all schedules.

Team Messaging

Open any team detail panel and click Message Team to send an email to all team members. Write a subject and message, and it is delivered to every member with an email address on file.

Public Volunteer Signup

Share the public volunteer signup URL with your congregation. Teams with self-signup enabled appear for people to browse and join. New signups are added as pending members for leader review.

Importing Volunteers

Import volunteers from CSV or XLSX files using the Team Group Importer wizard. Map columns to fields, preview data, and import. Supports formats from Planning Center, Breeze, CCB, Realm, and Elvanto.
